Lower your IAT's, make more power and potentially improve MPG. The Heatshield Products CIS, Cold-Intake System keeps intake charge pipes cooler by shielding under hood heat away. In many applications, air intake pipes are saturated by under hood heat, or placed right behind a radiator. This causes composite and aluminum intake tubes and pipes to heat up. Our cold air insulation kit works on both aftermarket and OEM intake systems. In fact, many aftermarket systems simply flow more hot air, not cold air. Prevent this from happening and insulate your air intake. These universal kits come with either and adjustable inside diameter sleeve or the deluxe kits include insulation for the air box. All kits come with Heatshield Products Cool Foil Tape to seal edges, seams, and cuts into the material.
