I was told to replace the cat because the check engine light was on, bought the magnaflow, it’s not the cheapest one but is stainless steel so should not rust like the one I had, fit was good but had to do some piping work
This is not magnaflow or borla, but it is worth what it costs, the metal is thick and the muffler itself provides some power boost you can hear and feel, I think it’s hard to find something better for this price
I prepared my car for a track, so I replaced my cat with these pipes, I haven’t measured the power boost yet, but they definitely work, I wish they were legal on the street!
The cat looks solid and high quality, features oem style openings to fit oxygen sensors, also came with a gasket, so there was no need for buying it, got it delivered in two days and installed the same day, it was easy because of direct fit, the check engine light is gone
noticed a small gain in acceleration but the sound is the same, good build quality and a direct fit, I tried different brands on my other vehicles, but magnaflow works the best, will do the trick if you’re looking for a couple of extra “horses”
High-quality direct-fit catalytic converter, had a hard time removing the existing one, but this was easy to install, I recommend buying a downstream sensor because mine got damaged when I was trying to take off the old cat
Works better than the OEM catalytic converter, easy to bolt on, the metal is thicker than on cheap Chinese catalytic converters, overall high quality, great option
